TYPES OF CLAIMS

If you have been injured through any kind of road traffic accident which is not your fault within last three years, whether you were the driver/passenger in someone else's vehicle or if you were a pedestrian you are entitled to claim for financial compensation. This includes pain, suffering and financial losses such as loss of earning, damaged your vehicle and personal belongings.

Many people do not realize that whiplash (neck, back, shoulder pain etc) is an injury that they can claim for. Recently announced by medical experts that a whiplash injury can cause severe problems later on in life including sharp neck pain, recurrent backaches and shoulder pain which restrict movement.

If you have experience even the slightest injury (whiplash) or trauma as a result of road traffic accident you should seek medical advice from your own GP or from the Hospital and then legal advise - you may call us.

IF YOU ARE A PASSENGER

If you were a passenger in any vehicle that has been involved in an accident then the liability aspect does not become an issue. You are entitled to claim for your injuries regardless of who was at fault. Many people fail to claim for their injuries because the driver at fault was there spouse or friend. If the driver is claiming for the damaged to the vehicle anyway then an injury claim is not going to affect the insurance any more. You can only lose a no claim bonus once from the same accident. Making a personal injury claim against your husband/wife/son/daughter/friend/parents/ from their insurance policy would not have a personal bearing i.e you would not be suing them personally. Only making a claim from their insurance for the damages you are entitled by law.

HIT BY AN UNINSURED VEHICLE

Do not worry. There is a system in place to compensate victims of uninsured drivers, the motor insurers bureau (MIB) will appoint an insurance company to deal with your claim for injury damages etc.

HIT AND RUN

If you are a victim of a hit and run accident the MIB have an "untraced drivers" scheme to help you.

(Please note untraced drivers scheme do not cover legal cost. There will be a percentage charge from your compensation)

SLIP, TRIP OR FALL ACCIDENTS

If you have sustained an injury through tripping, slipping or fall on the public high way or private grounds you may be entitled to compensation. Regardless of how serious you think your injury maybe, you could be entitled to compensation. In each case if someone else had a duty to keep the floor or path clear of obstruction, black hole, slippery substances and other hazards then you may have a claim.

ACCIDENT AT WORK AND PUBLIC LIABILITY CLAIMS

If you have been involved in an accident at work while in the course of your employed duties you may be entitled to compensation. Every employer must ensure the safety and well being of their employees. If you had an accident at work which involves some aspects of negligence by your employers you may be entitled to compensation.

If you have been injured in a public place other than on a public high way such as in a shop or hotel you may be entitle for compensation.
